
Press-on Nail Removal

Step One

Move the press-on nails back and forth to see if they have loosened and are ready to peel off. Do not pop your nails off before they are ready! It can cause damage to the natural nails underneath.

If your nails are still not ready to peel off then apply some cuticle oil to the area beneath the press-on nail. Allow the oil to soak for a few minutes before trying again.

Step Four
Use the pointed end of a cuticle pusher to get underneath the press-on nail and gently wedge it away from the natural nail.

Step Five
There may be some leftover adhesive to peel off using your fingers and a cuticle pusher.

Step Six
If the left over adhesive is difficult to remove, try using a cotton ball and some acetone-based nail polish remover.

Step Seven
To restore your natural nail, gently buff your nails with a buffing block and go nail polish free for a few days. Apply cuticle oil to your nail beds and lotion to your hands to restore moisture.
